Here I was, just thinking what crazy idea I could imagine to make an unbelievable concept design. I wanted to try something out of the box, something that makes people stop and look. The first thing that came to me was an open mouth, red lipstick, tongue out like she’s saying, “I’m not afraid, I’ll say what I want.” Then I thought, what if small toy-like people were climbing ropes up to her mouth, trying to stop her from speaking? That idea stuck with me.
I started mixing layers, added gloss to the tongue, played around with curves, vibrance, levels...all kinds of little tweaks until it felt right. Then I threw on some LUTs to finish it with that big movie-poster look.
That’s when I called it 'Tongue Line' it made sense. The design gives off a movie or even TV show vibe, it looks so real that honestly, I feel like Hollywood would look twice at this. I just love creating concepts like this.
